BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

Business Owner: I have had my own business for more than ten years.  I have worked with a variety of clients in multiple capacities. 

  • Assisting clients with software issues and questions
  • Processing A/R, A/P, Payroll, 1099s
  • Setting up QuickBooks, or other accounting systems, including chart of accounts

Finance Manager: Prepare, analyze and maintain financial statements, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and related payroll tax returns for various retail companies


Cost Accountant (Manufacturing Facility)

Cost Accountant: Prepare, analyze and maintain account reconciliations, financial statements, departmental cost reports. fixed assets and capital spending. Coordinate physical inventories, including preparation of count sheets, instructions to staff and analysis of the results. Complete a portion of the business plan for five years. Organized monthly operation review meetings with production department supervisors and management. Created reports in OSAS accounting software to obtain necessary data needed for conversion to SAP. Completed one month of SAP super-user training and provided go-live support and reporting for our plant location


Regional Accounting Firm

Supervisor (3 years), Senior (1 year), Junior (1 year): Experienced in both attest and non-attest engagements. Coordinated, supervised and participated in pension, non-profit and manufacturing audits. Complete, analyze and review work papers, financial statements and financial reports for clients.
